Sponsor a Child

Children and particularly children’s education is a central part of this ministry and we are committed to providing and supporting the education of children in Africa.  One of the biggest challenges facing the African continent  at the moment is the high level of illiteracy.  If the future of Africa is going to be bright we need to start now and educate the masses for tomorrow.  In Africa many children are still used for child labour, child sex slaves, child soldiers and the like.  Each day I see hundreds of children lining the streets selling all manor of wares when they should be in school receiving an education.  This grieves my spirit and angers me.

Those of you who are sponsoring children I say to you this, you are making a great difference to a child’s life. Because of you a child will  receive an education for life and that is the greatest gift you could give him or her.  To the rest of you I say get involved and sponsor a child today and make a difference to someone’s life forever.  Remember Ignorance is a friend to backwardness but the educated stand tall in the future.  I am committed to making a difference in my lifetime.

Sponsor a child, make a difference!

west africa children thank you

Africa is the most under educated continent. Although primary school enrolment rose dramatically during the 1970s, from 65 to 90 percent for boys and from 44 to 69 per cent for girls, under the weight of the economic crisis of the last decade, both rates fell by roughly 50% per cent, with the quality of education also showing sign of deterioration.
Education spending per capita in developed countries is namely 20 times that of Africa. At least one African child in three of primary school age is not in school." By sponsoring a child you are making a difference. As well as supporting them financially remember to do all you call to ensure that African leaders recognized the value of education for nation building.
